Aerowatt, a trail-blazer in wind powered energy 1968 - Formation of Aerowatt, specialising in the manufacture of wind turbines for marine beaconing
1983 - Aerowatt installs the first French wind farm connected to the EDF network. Built in Lastours (South of France), the total power of the farm is 100 kW (10 x 10 kW machines).
1992 - Commissioning of the first overseas wind farm in Desirade (Guadeloupe, 0.15 MW)
1997 - First wind farm in Marie Galante (Guadeloupe, 1.5 MW)
2001 - First wind farm in New Caledonia (0.54 MW)
