Aerowatt is an independent and integrated generator of wind-powered and photovoltaic energy both in France and in the French overseas regions. The company deals with all the stages occurring during the life of a wind farm: sites selection and administrative procedures, wind and technical studies, financing research, construction, operation and electricity sales. Operating for more than 15 years on this market, Aerowatt ranks among the top five integrated French players in the sector thanks to its highly experimented teams, its wind farms portfolio both in mainland France and in the overseas regions and its recognised technical expertise. Aerowatt has set up an original implantation strategy for its projects which closely involves local players within partnership rationality.
Aerowatt currently operates and fully owns 21 wind farms in France, accounting for 57 MW. The company has a portfolio of projects which will enable it to generate about 350 MW.
Since July 2007, Aerowatt has been carrying-on a photovoltaic solar energy generation activity, together with BP Solar France, the market-leader in the manufacturing of solar cells. Aerowatt has committed itself to a 6MWc programme for 2007-2009, within the framework of this agreement. It should be able to generate approximately 20MWc.
In November 2006, Aerowatt was awarded Oseo Anvar’s label d’entreprise innovante (innovative company award).  Wind farm in Kafeate, New Caledonia Key figures for 2007 : - 57 MW generated,
